Club Contest 2009 - Sheboygan Area Great Lakes Sport Fishermen
The Sheboygan Area Great Lakes Sport Fishermen's club has been sponsoring a club fishing contest for more than 30 years. You must be a member of the club to participate in this contest. Cash gift certificates will be awarded for the adult division, while trophies will be awarded to the juniors. The awards will be presented at the club's annual banquet held in February for the largest fish in each category. The adult division will be paying out the top 4 places with gift certificates from our club sponsor the "Wharf". We will pay out the following in all five Great Lakes species: 1st place - $100, 2nd place $75, 3rd place $50, and 4th place $25. . Make sure to register your fish at the Wharf. All fish must be caught in Sheboygan waters and the weight documented at either Coho Derby headquarters or at The Wharf. A official sign up sheet and standings board is displayed at the Wharf (733 Riverfront Drive). The contest runs every year from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is coordinated by club member Ed Kalmerton. The online standings board below is provided by club member James Schlegel and will be updated on a weekly basis. All the best of luck this season!
