The 2010 Arrowhead Warhawks season will be dependent upon how hard they work this off-season. Work and playing in the off-season is a must! The challenge is to earn a trip back to the WIAA State Tournament and three-peat as the Classic 8 Confernce Champions. Arrowhead graduated many outstanding seniors in 2009 and will look to mix the talaent of Varsity returners with Varsity Reserve, JV and perhaps some players off the Freshman team. Returning players off the WIAA State Semi-finalist for the Warhawks include Jonny Fischer, Jake Flatley, Zach Ardnt, Nate Skarie, Jack Balestreri and Erik Altenburg. Look for the Warhawks to have to surprise some people next fall!

2009 Season in Review

The 2009 Arrowhead Warhawks utilized the A.C.E. concept to perfection! Attitude + Committment = Excellence was the focus for the entire 2009 season. The 2009 Warhawks knew if they only worried about achieving EXCELLENCE the "sky truly would be the limit." The Warhawks opened the season by finishing as Consolation Champs at the always tough Al Gusho Memorial Tournament. The Warhawks won the Arrowhead Quad and Pewaukee Pirate Cup in the midst of a 15 game unbeaten streak. Arrowhead defended their Classic 8 Confernce Championship giving them 6 league championship in the past 10 years! The Warhawks were ranked every week of the season and finished #4 in the WSCA state polls and #4 by the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel. The Warhawks were also ranked as high as #7 in the NSCAA / Adidas regional poll. The Warhawks won the WIAA Regional Championship with and bye and victory over Tosa West. The Warhawks won the WIAA Sectional Championship with hard fought victories over Menomonee Falls (1-0) and Brookfield Central (2-0). At the WIAA State Tournament the Warhawks beat the reigning state champion and nationally ranked (#17) Marquette Hilltoppers. The Warhawks season came to an end vs. Muskego in the State Semi-final (a team they had tied 0-0 earlier in the season). The Warhawks finished the season with an impressive 19-3-3 record. They arguablly played the toughest schedule in the state as they faced the #1, #3 x 2, #5 x 2, #7, #8 x 2, #10 ranked in division I and the #1 ranked team in division II. The Warhawks landed four players on the 1st team Classic 8 All-Conference (Andy Fox, Jordan Dai, Andy Fox, Mike Skarie). Earning 2nd team honors were Robbie Denniston and Max Jentsch. Brian Griffin and Danny Ziegler earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. Congratulations Warhawks on an outstanding season in 2008!
The 2008 Arrowhead Warhawks utilized the O.N.E. concept perfectly. Only Now Exists was the focus for the entire 2008 season. The Warhawks opened the season by finishing 2nd at the always tough Al Gusho Memorial Tournament. The Warhawks won the Arrowhead Quad and Pewaukee Pirate Cup in the midst of a 11 game winning streak. Arrowhead finished with a perfect 7-0-0 record in the Classic 8 Conference, giving them their 5th confernce championship in 9 years! The Warhawks were ranked every week of the season and finished #2 in the WSCA state polls and #2 by the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel. State rankings were not the only recognition the Warhawks earned in 2008. The Warhawks were ranked as high as #24 by the NSCAA / Adidas national poll and high as #3 in the NSCAA / Adidas regional poll. The Warhawks won the WIAA Regional Championship with victories over Milwaukee Vincent and Sussex-Hamilton. The Warhawks season came to an end vs. Homestead (a team they had beaten 5-0 earlier in the season) in WIAA Sectional play. The Warhawks finished the season with an impressive 19-4-1 record. They arguablly played the toughest schedule in the state as they faced the #1, #3, #4, #5 and #7 ranked team in the state (D1) and the #1 and #5 D2 ranked teams. The Warhawks set an Arrowhead record by landing five players on the 1st team Classic 8 All-Conference (Andy Fox, Danny Waller, Sean Gilbert, Kyle Peterson and Brad Meissner). Earning 2nd team honors were Kevin Grimstad and Max Jentsch. Mike Skarie and Danny Ziegler earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. Congratulations Warhawks on an outstanding season in 2008!

2007 Season in Review

In 2007 the Arrowhead Warhawks had an outstanding year by using the equation: CHARACTER > REPUTATION. The 2007 Warhawks opened the season by winning 4 out of their first 5 games including a 2-0 decisive victory over the defending WIAA State Champion Madison Memorial. The Warhawks took 3rd place at the Arrowhead Quad and won the Pewaukee Pirate Cup. The Arrowhead Warhawks were ranked as high as #7 in the WSCA State Polls and high as #6 by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Arrowhead arguably had one of the toughest schedules in the state as they faced 12 teams who were ranked at one point in the season. The Warhawks were playing their best soccer of the season heading into the post-season as they won the WIAA Regional with victories over Sussex-Hamilton (4-0) and #7 state ranked Homestead (3-0). The Warhawks season came to an end vs. Menomonee Falls in Sectional play. The Warhawks finished the season with a 12-7-3 record. 1st team Classic 8 All-Conference honors went to Niko Markos (Senior) and Danny Waller (Junior) while 2nd team honors went to Andy Fox (Sophomore), Brad Meissner (Junior), and Sam Driscoll (Senior). Honorable Mention recognition went to Sean Gilbert (Junior), Ben Fredman (Senior) and Alex Ribar (Senior). Niko Markos was also selected to Honorable Mention All-State and 1st team all-Area by the Milwaukee Journal. Brad Meissner and Danny Waller were both selected tot he Honorable Mention All-Area team. Congratulations Warhawks on an outstanding season in 2007!
To say the 2006 Warhawks had a great season would be an understatement.  They finished the season with an overall record of 17-3-4 and a Classic 8 Conference mark of 5-0-2 - giving them their fourth Classic 8 Conference Championship in the past six years.  The Warhawks took 4th place at the always tough Al Gusho Memorial Tournament and 1st place at the Pewaukee Pirate Cup.  The 2006 Warhawks also finished the season with a WSCA state ranking of #9 and were ranked as high as #5.  Danny Kolokoski (Senior), Dan Skarie (Senior) and Niko Markos (Junior) represented the Warhawks on the 1st team All-Conference.  For Danny's efforts in 2006 he was also named the 2006 Classic 8 Conference Player of the Year, an honor that has gone to an Arrowhead Warhawk five of the last seven years.  Alex Ribar (Junior) was the only 2nd team All-Conference representative and Stephen Schultz (Senior), Andrew Rummler (Senior) and Rus Lyons (Senior)  were selected to the Honorable Mention All-Conference teams.  The Warhawks, lead by their defense all year long, also had three players make All-State.  Danny Kolokoski (1st team), Dan Skarie (2nd team), and Niko Markos (Honorable Mention) were all selected to the Wisconsin All-State team.  This defense set a new Arrowhead record by earning 17 shutouts and only allowing an impressive 9 goals the entire season.  Congratulations WARHAWKS on a "GREAT" season.

2005 Season in Review

Season Mottos:

In 2005 the Arrowhead Warhawks went from "Good to Great!"  In August and September the Warhawks put together a "Good" run as they went 6-6-3, but in October they played "Great" soccer by putting together a seven game winning streak against some of the toughest competition the state offers.  The Warhawks finished the 2005 season with an overall record of 13-7-3 and  a Classic 8 Conference mark of 5-2-0 - one game out of the Conference Championship.  The Warhawks took 7th place at the always tough Al Gusho Memorial Tournament and 1st place at their own Arrowhead Quad.  The 2005 Warhawks also finished the season with a WSCA state ranking of #13 (Honorable Mention) and were ranked as high as #9 by the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel.  Danny Kolokoski (Junior) was the only Warhawk to make 1st team All-Conference.  For Danny's efforts in 2005 he also landed himself on the 1st Team All-Area put out by the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel.  Brandon Lobes (Senior) and Alex Wieseler (Junior) landed on the 2nd team All-Conference and Kevin Becker (Senior) and Dan Skarie (Junior) were selected to the Honorable Mention All-Conference teams.  Congratulations Warhawks on a fine season in 2005!    
The 2004 Arrowhead Warhawks finished the season in  record-breaking fashion.  They had an overall record of 21-2-2 against the toughest competition in the state.   The 2004 Hawks took 2nd place at the Gusho Tournament, 1st place at the Arrowhead Invite (3rd consecutive year), and 1st place at the Minnesota/Wisconsin Quad.  The Hawks won the always tough Classic 8 Conference with a record of 7-0-0.  This marks the 3rd time in four years Arrowhead has won the c8c title.   Arrowhead finished the season with a WSCA state ranking of #1 and a Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel ranking of #1.  The Warhawks finished the season ranked #7 in the NSCAA/Adidas national poll.  The 2004 Arrowhead Warhawks qualified for the WIAA State Tournament for the first time since 1985.  Andy Gill (Senior), Andy Kolokoski (Senior), Erik Felt (Senior), Kyle Bast (Senior) all landed on the 1st team Classic 8 All-Conference Team.  Andy Gill was also selected Classic 8 Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season.  This marks the 4th time the past five years an Arrowhead player has received this honor.  Danny Kolokoski (Sophomore) was the only Arrowhead player selected the the 2nd team all conference while Garrett Gosh (Senior), Kenny Sobczak (Senior), and Alex Wieseler (Sophomore) were selected Honorable Mention.  Andy Gill was also selected Player of the Year by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.  Joining him on first team was Erik Felt.  Kyle Bast and Andy Kolokoski were selected to the 2nd team all area and Coach Jeff Staus was named Coach of the Year.  Congratulations on a record-breaking season and look for Arrowhead to defend championships in 2005!

2003 Season in Review

Season Motto:
 "Workers are Winners."

The 2003 Arrowhead Warhawks finished the season with an impressive overall record of 16-5-3.  This marked the 4th consecutive season the program has finished with 10 or more wins.  The 2003 Hawks took 3rd place in the Gusho Tournament, 1st place at the Arrowhead Invite (2nd consecutive year), and 3rd place at the Madison Edgewood Tournament.  The Hawks won the always tough Classic 8 Conference with a record of 6-1-0.  This marks the 2nd time in three years Arrowhead has won the c8c title.   Arrowhead finished the season with a WSCA state ranking of #10 and area ranking by the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel of #4.  Matt Senn (Senior), Danny Ehnert (Senor), Andy Gill (Junior), and Andy Kolokoski (Junior) landed on the 1st team Classic 8 All-Conference Team.  Andy Gill was also selected Classic 8 Conference player of the year.  This marks the 3rd time the past four years an Arrowhead player has received this honor.  Erik Felt (Junior), Jason Tremaine (Senior), Paul Sikinger (Junior), and Kenny Sobczak (Junior) were selected to the Honorable Mention All-Conference.   Look for Arrowhead to defend the conference title in 2004 as it returns 12 letter-winners, of which 5 were all-conference selections.            

The 2002 Arrowhead Warhawks finished the season with an overall record of 10-6-4.  This marked the 3rd consecutive season the program has finished with 10 or more wins.  The 2002 Hawks took 8th place in the Gusho Tournament, 1st place at the Arrowhead Invite, and 2nd place at the Oconomowoc Tournament.  The Hawks finished 2nd in the always tough Classic 8 Conference with a record of 5-2-0.  The only conference losses came to CMHS and Waukesha West.   Arrowhead finished the season with a WSCA state ranking of #12 (Honorable Mention) and ranked as high as #9 in the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel area poll.  Andy Gill (Sophomore) and Jimmy Gohsman (Senior) landed on the 1st team Classic 8 All-Conference Team.  Erik Felt (Sophomore), Ben Keane (Senior), and Matt Senn (Junior) were selected to the 2nd team.  Honorable Mention status was given to Chase Gravengood (Junior) and Danny Ehnert (Junior).  Look for Arrowhead to challenge for the conference title in 2003 as it returns 13 letter-winners, of which 5 were all-conference selections.

2001 Season in Review

Season Motto:
 "Champions Expect Pain, Endure Pain, and Never Complain."

The 2001 Warhawks led by Captains Ian Dunlop, Wes Schmidt, and Kyle Zenoni had a record breaking year.  Arrowhead took the Classic 8 Conference Championship with a 7-2-1 conference record and finished with an overall record of 14-7-3.  Arrowhead took the Consolation Championships at the Al Gusho Memorial Tournament and the Oconomowoc Invite, as well as 2nd place at the Arrowhead Invite.  Arrowhead, unanimously ranked #1 in their region, took the WIAA Regional Championship and was WIAA Sectional Runner-Up.  Wes Schmidt was selected  Classic 8 Conference Player of the Year and was joined on the 1st team All-Conference by Kyle Zenoni.  Arrowhead players landing on 2nd team were Paul Raymaker, Ian Dunlop, Ben Keane, and Andy Gill.  Justin Dittmar and Jimmy Gohsman were selected to honorable Mention All-Conference.  Congratulations to the 2001 Hawks!            
Under first year Coach Jeff Staus, the ”Hawks” finished 2nd in the tough Classic 8 Conference with an overall record of 12-5-5. Highlights from the 2000 campaign include a 15 game unbeaten streak, winning the Oconomowoc Invite, and finishing with a final WSCA ranking of #8. Senior Mid-fielder Scott Schneider was selected Classic 8 Conference Player of the Year, All-State, 1st team All-Conference, and 2nd team All-Area. Joining Schneider on 1st team All-Conference was Junior defender Wes Schmidt. Arrowhead also landed 5 players on 2nd team All-Conference. Wes Jobke, Drew Treiber, Kyle Zenoni, Ian Dunlop, and Pat Keane were all 2nd team-All Conference selections. Congratulations to the 2000 “HAWKS.”
