Web Design & Development

Semester 1
Hour 6
This class is prepared to provide concepts and guidelines for students of the World Wide Web who wish to design websites to be easily navigated, logically developed, and pleasing to the eye. Students will learn about some of the basic considerations of good Web design. The course will focus on design and construction using Dreamweaver and Flash, along with Web project management and performance evaluations. We will also cover such topics as site layout, color schemes, the use of images, consistent navigation, and how publishing for the Web is different than publishing for paper-based documents.
