American Studies 2 Extra-Credit

 American Studies I + II:    T.V. broadcasting/documentaries

Students may wish to earn extra-points to improve their grade status in class.  To do this, students may watch the History  Channel or  P.B.S. or any U.S. History programming.   The Extra-credit points students can earn will be applied to their Participation points for a 6-week grading period.  Students can earn up to 10 points for this activity.  Students need to watch 1 hour of programming for each point (1 point) of extra-credit (a minimum of 5 points need to be acquired for this activity).  The chart below is meant for students to report their viewing to their teacher, parents are asked to monitor and verify student viewing records.  I need parents to be good monitors of the programs being viewed, and that full attention is given to the programming.
