Untitled #5
...And in this autumn night,
After the rain and the clouds have passed,
The moon opens its shining eye
To gaze through the window
Upon your naked breast.
Bared to the world
For kisses of a soft white glow,
Silently erotic,
Coolly seductive,
Ravishing in their flow.
Moist lips upon your flesh
To taste what the sky hath paint'
And feel what the air hath touch',
All to drink until my fill
Of your excitement.

Discussion:
This poem was actually a response to a dear friend's E-mail message. In the days following its writing, I thought about it and decided to put it online (very slightly modified). It's not great, but, in my opinion, it's not too bad for something that was just kind of written off-the-cuff in about 20 minutes. It may not make total sense since the prompting text is missing, but I think the context is still at least somewhat clear, thus my decision to add it to my website.
