| Comments: | i must agree with you regarding the issues of the lack of inspiration in the months of summer. and considering the fact that i live in southern california, and that there are but two months here, (excrutiatingly sweltering and wet/windy), the only inspiration of nature i can achieve are that of describing the moon or the wind or the burning red leaves on skeletal trees. the heat and the horrid dryness is contributing to my hopeful move to chicago in five years, when i am 18.
a suggestion to your website: use more legible font. though elegant, the gothic script you use quite often on this site causes me to squint.

because of this i rated your work with 9. i don't mean your ideas but the way u sometimes... try too hard to make the lirics rime. belive me i understand, i have this too and i hate it when it comes to my writings.
anyway, i love it! the one that i first read and realy blew me away is "a chance encounter with death". what i find interesting is that u can write somehow humoros tales ("diseased mind" stuff) and still retain the dark aura.
i have to admit that i have took some of your work and gave it around to some of my friends who sympathise with my taste in GOTHIC.

| Comments: | not being the pale, depressive, make-uped vampire type, i initially read your work with scepticism but later appreciated the thought that went into them when it is pointed out in the discussions. however my catholic mind wasnt overly impressed with the 'Raped by Jesus' and the line 'why must be forever in pain' (or something along those lines) from Violet Is A Sad Colour smacks of the gothic stereotype and i began to wonder whether you are taking the piss. if so, well done but i think you tried to hard. if not, well...try to get along with those around you a bit more and maybe get some sun once in a while.
p.s the layout/colour scheme is a bit crappy. maroon would make a nice change whilst being comfortably sinister |

The comments about Christianity in your poems are the things I wouldn't dream of saying out loud, but want to almost more than anything.
"Suicide Note" might be the single most meaningful thing on this site to me. I didn't know it was possible to explain something so perfectly...!
As I was about half way thru "Visions from a Diseased Mind #2: fun with Barbed Wire" I realized that I was reading thru it w/ extreme ease and not at all sickened. I even laughed a few times. That scares me... a lot. I was a little afraid to read "how to kill a Dog" cuz I'm a huge animal lover- but once again, I read w/ ease and laughed some.
So when it comes down to it I feel pretty depressed, weak, perverted, and in pain. Thanks :P

| Comments: | I read your trip report to Maribel Caves County Park. You wanted more information on the caves in the park. The cave which had the cave gate on is called New Hope Cave. This cave is about 450 feet lone with mostly crawling passage way. There has been a lot of digging there in other caves in the park after you last been there.
